How do I become a Christian?
Understand:
- "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Rom.3:23)
- Forgiveness is available for all. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life." (John 3:16)
- Even though forgiveness is available, it is not automatic.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; " (Rom.3:23)
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the
kingdom of heaven..." (Mat. 7:21)
- We have to turn to Jesus "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be
saved." (Rom.10:13)
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and
shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the
dead, thou shalt be saved." (Rom. 10:9)
- Heaven will be your home if you trust in Christ alone for your salvation!
Pray this prayer:
Jesus, I know you came to this earth to die for my sins. I know that I am a sinner according to Rom. 3:23. Please forgive me of
my sins and come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. I receive you now as my Savior.
Thank you Lord. Amen.
